School Privacy Overview

CASFolio gives students ownership of their portfolio while giving authorized coordinators a clear, limited view of active students in their assigned class.

What schools can expect

• No sale, rental, advertising use, behavioural profiling, or AI training with school records.
• Students retain ownership of their work.
• Active, role-limited coordinator access; staff and classes lose live access when no longer active.
• Free account exports, deletion support, private file storage, revocable 30-day sharing links, and security incident notification.
• At least 120 days’ notice before ordinary closure or a proposed price change. No automatic charges.

Documents for review

Schools receive one signable package: a School Service Agreement, plus a Data Processing Agreement, a Security Schedule, a Retention and Deletion Matrix, a Subprocessor Register, Incident Response Terms, a country appendix where one applies, and a school-specific Order Schedule. Signing the Order Schedule executes the whole package. An executive overview accompanies it, and a convenience translation can be supplied. The providers that can hold school data are published on the Service Providers page. The school agreement identifies authorized contacts, data processing roles, providers, transfers, support, incident handling, exports, and exit arrangements.
